An ode to Hugo Koblet, the Swiss rider who was the first non Italian to win the Giro d’Italia (1950). Hugo was known for his beautiful appearance and exquisite style. His most important "tools"? Strong legs and a little comb in his back pocket. No wonder his nickname was Pedaleur de Charme.
Muur: a ridiculously steep climb with grades ramping up to 20% or more. Whether it’s named De Muur van Geraardsbergen, Mur de Huy, Alto de l’Angliru or Muro di Sormano one thing is for sure: this is going to hurt. A lot.
The gentle rushing sound of wheels on fresh tarmac. The sun on your skin. The chitchatter in the grupetto of your best cycling mates. Legs moving at a perfect cadence dancing up a hill. The sensation of speed in a perfectly cut corner. The wind in your back and nothing but freedom in front. This is more than just a sport. This is a party. This is ‘La Fête de la Bicyclette’.
Live Slow, Ride Gravel. The official T-shirt of the LtD Gravel Raid, a cycling weekend full of adventure hosted by pro cyclist and gravel grinder Laurens ten Dam. "I love cycling. A bike isn’t just for the road, or just for racing, or just a tool I use to do my job. It’s a way to see new things, meet new people, have fun with friends. Ride through forests, over mountains, by the ocean, see the sunrise, see the sunset. It’s a way to live life, to push your limits." – LtD
