About La Machine Cycle Club

We make off-bike life iconic for cyclists.

La Machine Cycle Club is a Dutch cycling-culture label. We make premium off-bike essentials: clothing for the moments between rides. The espresso stop. The commute. The recovery beer. Not race kit. We make no jerseys and no bibs.

Founded in 2013 by Rens Robroek with 500 euro and a box of tees. From a dusty attic to a vintage bus, we brought our vision to races, cafés and wherever the peloton came to rest. No funding. No shortcuts. Just pure cycling soul.

Today La Machine is worn in over 56 countries by more than 50,000 customers, from our home in Schijndel, the Netherlands. We still design everything ourselves. We still pack orders by hand.

Not that La Machine

There is a French street-theatre company called Compagnie La Machine. They build a mechanical elephant in Nantes. Beautiful work. Not us. There is also a village in Nièvre and a robot in an American television show. Also not us. We are La Machine Cycle Club, and we make clothes for cyclists off the bike.

What we make

Off-Bike Essentials: t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, long sleeves, caps, beanies and accessories. Inspired by breakaways, bidons and cols. Made for the workday, the café stop, and just showing the world you ride, without dressing like you're racing.

People also call this casual cycling clothing, or cycling lifestyle apparel. We call it off-bike. Our on-bike range stops at cycling socks, neck warmers and bidons. That is on purpose.

How we make it

Small runs. Family-run ateliers in Portugal and Turkey. Fair prices, durable fabric, no cheap shortcuts. We don't chase the cheapest deal. We build relationships with makers who care about the fabric, the finish and the feel.

Longevity over volume. That's our definition of sustainability.

Worn by the peloton, off the bike

Since 2026, La Machine is the official off-bike apparel partner of EF Pro Cycling. Some teams ride to conserve energy; EF rides to disrupt the status quo. 200+ humans. 1 aesthetic.

From 2022 we dressed Team Visma | Lease a Bike off the bike, through press conferences, travel days and rest days.

The timeline

• 2013. Launched from an attic with 500 euro. The bus rolled out: crits, cafés, cobbles.
• 2015. First warehouse. Packing, shipping and designing ourselves ever since.
• 2018. Available across all of Europe. The peloton gets continental.
• 2022. Official off-bike apparel partner of Team Visma | Lease a Bike.
• 2026. Official off-bike apparel partner of EF Pro Cycling.
